Johannes Bosisio (b. 1994, Cavalese, Italy) is an Italian-born artist currently living and working between London and Berlin. His practice spans painting and sculptural installation, exploring themes of transformation, freedom, desire, and hybridisation. Bosisio’s distinctive approach fuses organic forms with technological elements, creating works that blur the boundaries between the natural and the artificial. His manipulation of surfaces—transforming once-polished chrome into scratched, textured materials—embodies a narrative of change and vitality. These deliberate alterations invite viewers to reflect on identity in the context of technological evolution. Bosisio earned his BA at the Weißensee Academy of Art Berlin under Prof. Nader Ahriman (2014–2020), and spent a year on Erasmus at Chelsea College of Art and Design in London (2018–2019). He completed his MA at the Royal College of Art, London (2020–2022).
